Tempe Connections is looking for individuals for the following volunteer positions:

Volunteer Services Coordinator – Develop partnerships with local non-profit organizations that need experienced, leadership level volunteers.  Assist in educating organizations about the benefits of utilizing 50+ volunteers and in identifying opportunities ranging from project based to long-term placements.

Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator -  Recruit qualified adults who have the necessary work experience and skills for placement in non-profit organizations.  Provide leadership and guidance in maintaining an effective on-going volunteer recognition program.

AARP Foundation Information Navigator –Assist program participants in accessing and using the AARP Foundation WorkSearch Assessment System.  Computer skills required-training provided.

Tempe Community Action Agency is looking for:

Homebound Outreach Ambassadors - Perform welfare checks, provide companionship and deliver vital nutrition to elderly and disabled homebound citizens of Tempe or south Scottsdale.  Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Arizona driver’s license and able to use your own vehicle.  Must be willing to commit to one time Monday through Friday per week from 10 am to noon.  Fingerprint/background check required.  Mileage reimbursement available.  To volunteer, call the North Tempe Senior Center 480-858-6510 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
